Catch the sky changing colour
A sunset yacht trip is the simplest way to see Abu Dhabi at its prettiest. The sea goes calm and silver, the towers light up, and the sky runs through orange, pink and that deep blue we named ourselves after. You get the whole yacht for your group, with the captain and crew handling the route.
When to start
Sunset in Abu Dhabi moves through the year – roughly 5:30 to 6:00 pm in the cooler months and around 7:00 pm in early summer. Start about 1 to 1.5 hours before sunset and book at least 2 hours, so you get golden light, the sunset itself and the city lights coming on.
